Nyhavn and the historic waterfront

The picturesque Nyhavn canal was dug in the 17th century
to
allow traders to bring their wares into the heart of the city. Long
a haunt for sailors and writers (Andersen for instance), Nyhavn today
is half salty and half gentrified. It’s possible to get there a boat for
a guided tour of the historic waterfront. |
